Maureen (Muzz) Laverty, an 8-year Boquete resident who had a total hip replacement in 2020, earned the right to compete in the UCI Gran Fondo World Cycling Championships by winning her age group in a qualifying race in Costa Rica last month. The 2024 championships are being held in Aalborg, Denmark, August 29 - September 2. Muzz has no support or other financial support. Please help her realize her dream of competing against the best cyclists in the world! There will be food and drink specials, 50/50 raffle, giveaways and more.
